How to Claim the Rebate
Buyers have two ways to claim the First-Time Home Buyers’ GST Rebate:

- Signed eligibility declaration.

You (and your spouse/common-law partner) must:
- Not have owned or lived in a home you or your partner owned in the past 4 calendar years.

- Owner-built primary residences.
- Co-operative housing units.
- Homes on leased land also qualify.
